Vigo (Spain), December 20, 2012. - QUOBIS (quobis.com ) announces the public release of QoffeeSIP, a full SIP stack for WebRTC applications.
QoffeeSIP enables the creation of video & voice applications over the web and, in a short future, the connection of browsers to any SIP enabled device. WebRTC, HTML5 and this stack open up new possibilities for companies involved in the development of unified communications platforms and online services.
QoffeeSIP has been released as an opensource project with a LPGL license, along with a complete reference guide, documentation, examples and source code. A live demo of a peer-to-peer videoconference platform, powered by QoffeeSIP, is also available to show all the capabilities of WebRTC. As of today, it's the lightest application available as it only needs 32KB.
