QUOBIS is participating in the SHOP4CF program cooperating with DATIVIC in the RTassit experiment.
RTassist proposes a use case for assistance to manufacturer warehouse employees to deal with their tasks. It does so by providing answers to complex questions from a Natural Language Understanding based Real-Time Communications system embedded in an Android application for smartphones.
The human-technology interaction that the use case introduces is the usage of a video communication mobile assistant triggered by wearable IoT devices. This allows workers to communicate in hands-free mode, without requiring new movements or touching any new screen.
The relevant worker groups affected by the use-case implementation are the industrial warehouse shop floor operators. After the use-case implementation, workers will have an innovative tool to facilitate their tasks. This will increase their productivity and well-being.
