Product Owner

Summary

At Quobis we are looking for a “product owner” (PO) whose main purpose will be to transform the strategy of our Quobis Communication Platform product into a quality backlog for the development team.

Detail of responsibilities of the position

Candidates will join the Quobis Technical Office department, reporting to its manager and working in collaboration with another PO (responsible for the Quobis collaborator product), with a Product Manager and with the development team (made up of a total of 20 people ). The main responsibilities of the Product Owner will be:

  • Backlog prioritization
  • Drafting of product specifications
  • Division of work in user stories
  • Release and roadmap management
  • Documentation management

Minimum requirements

  • Experience in the role of Product Owner in digital product design
  • Demonstrable experience in AGILE methodology
  • Experience in the analysis of functional requirements and dialogue with the business.
  • Written communication in English
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
  • Ideally, experience with real-time communications products

Technical expertise:

We need you to have a minimum of experience or basic knowledge of the following technological areas:

  • Communications infrastructure, IP networks and networking
  • Familiar with the GNU / Linux operating system
  • Basic understanding of scripts and backend code (NodeJS & Javascript)
  • Basic understanding of REST API and SDKs
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure solutions (MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Nginx, etc …)
  • Ideally, knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, etc …)
